Qalb is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, register, or log in. Therefore, we do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location. We do not use persistent tracking cookies or targeted advertising identifiers.
Text Inputs (Spiritual Queries): If you type queries into the app seeking spiritual guidance, this anonymous text is sent securely to our backend server to generate an immediate, helpful response based on the Quran and Hadith. These text inputs are processed on the fly and are not stored, logged, or tied to your identity by us.
Voice Data (Microphone Access): The Qalb app requests access to your device's microphone strictly to facilitate the local Speech-to-Text translation feature, enabling hands-free queries. Your voice is processed securely in real-time. We do not record, save, or upload your raw audio files to our servers.
Your "History" (previous conversations) and "Bookmarks" (saved spiritual guidance) are securely stored locally on your own device. This data never leaves your phone or browser, and is completely inaccessible by us or any third parties. You maintain full control over this data and can delete your history at any time directly through the app's settings.
